Wow! What a tasty dish this is. I'll never settle for plain old barbecue chicken again. Just the right balance of sweetness and spice. Our new favorite!

What You Need

1
cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
1-1/2
Tbsp. honey
1-1/2
Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4
tsp. chili powder
1
 broiler-fryer chicken (3 lb.), cut up

Make It

PREHEAT greased grill to low heat. Mix all ingredients except chicken in medium saucepan until well blended. Cook on medium heat 5 min. or until mixture bubbles and begins to darken slightly, stirring occasionally.

PLACE chicken on grill; cover grill with lid. Grill 30 to 40 min. or until chicken is cooked through (180°F), turning occasionally and brushing with the barbecue sauce mixture during the last 15 min. of the grilling time.

Use Your Oven
Mix barbecue sauce, honey, cocoa and chili powder in medium bowl until well blended. Pour over chicken in 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through (180°F).
Miami-Style BBQ Chicken
Omit cocoa, honey and chili powder. Place barbecue sauce and 1/4 cup guava paste in blender container; cover. Blend until smooth. Grill chicken as directed, turning and brushing occasionally with the barbecue sauce mixture.
