  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Place half the ribs in single layer in center of each of 2 large sheets of heavy-duty foil. Spread mustard onto both sides of ribs. Mix sugar and seasonings; rub onto both sides of ribs. Bring up sides of each foil sheet. Double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. (You will have 2 packets.)
  • Grill on covered grill 45 min. to 1 hour or until ribs are done. Remove ribs from foil; discard foil.
  • Return ribs to grill; brush with 1/4 cup marinade. Grill 15 min., turning and brushing occasionally with remaining marinade.

Aromatic Wood Chips

For enhanced smoke flavor, use aromatic wood chips -- hickory, mesquite or others soaked in water. Add to the grill right before the food goes on the grill for best results.

Serving Suggestion

For added color and texture, serve with a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing.

I fixed this as part of a romantic dinner with my fiancee for his birthday, and we loved it. He is a real rib fanatic, and he just raved on & on about how that was the best rib he's ever had. I live in Kentucky and the derby is a really big thing around here, I'm going to make it for that, and I'd bet my last that the crowd goes crazy.

I made this recipe for my dad on Father's Day - it turned out excellent, and I had never made ribs before in my life! The ribs were very flavorful and the meat was practically falling off the bone. My dad even took a copy of the recipe home with him so he could make it for himself.
