For less sticking, spray spoon lightly with cooking spray before using to drop cereal mixture onto prepared baking sheets.
Microwave butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 45 sec. to 1 min. or until melted. Add marshmallows; stir to coat. Microwave 1 to 1-1/2 min. or until marshmallows are melted, stirring every 30 sec. Stir in food coloring. Continue as directed.
Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

These are very good. I highly suggest stirring in 2 tsp. vanilla extract after you melt the marshmallows! Adding a light sprinkle of colored or white nonpareils on the finished cookies makes them even more fancy.
Love these! Easy to make (like rice krispy treats) - just be careful not to bite down too hard on the red hots...I chipped my back tooth last year :( But DELICIOUS!
