Substitute ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese.

Could do without the crab though.....next time I think I'll just *****uble shrimp. But it was so tasty!!! A hit in my house!
This recipe requires added ingredients to give it flavor. I added old bay seasoning as well as a dash of red ground pepper to cream sauce. I sauteed 3 cloves of garlic and about a 1/4 cup chopped onion in some butter and added it to spinach mixture with black pepper. I also added chopped fresh parsely to mixture. Added about 2 tablespoons of lemon juice over shrimp and crab meat and spinach mixture. Made this for Christmas Eve...everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and asked for recipe! Very delicious!
