This recipe sounded phenominal to me but when I was cooking it realized I would not like it. It smelled just as bad as it tasted. (I am pregnant though). My boyfriend didn't think it tasted like anything but the rest of the family thought it was great. I suggest you try it though because I am pregnant so once I didn't like the smell to it I couldn't eat it and my boyfriend is the pickiest eater in the world. So give it a chance because it sounds great and probably tastes great too, if you can get past the smell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT! PERFECT! Loved it!!! So nice to get a scallop potatoe recipe that doesn't take TWO hours to bake like most of them do!!!!!! Some poster said it was "tasteless", so i added some black pepper, an extra dab of dijon, and made my broth with two boullion cubes instead of just one, it was NOT tasteless at all. Probably woulda been fine recipe even exactly as is. Was nice and creamy, not dry,not runny. I used the slicer-bar on my veggie-grater thing to slice all the tatoes evenly. Way faster.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this recipe for my family and everyone enjoyed it. I made this recipe for my family and everyone enjoyed it. My 12 year old daughter came up with a way to change it slightly and I thought it was a good one. She suggested to brown about 6 pieces of boneless chicken breast, lay on the bottom of the pan and then put the potatoes on top. That way it is a one pan meal, thus saving time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this dish for our Easter dinner. I made this dish for our Easter dinner. This recipe is a keeper. I increased the amount of potatoes because three potatoes would not feed 16 people. Everyone raved about them. I loved the fact that I could make this ahead of time. I will definitely make them again.

I have never found a recipe for scalloped potatoes that has been succesful for me except for this one. I loved the dijon and cream cheese combo. My husband, who hates cream cheese, LOVED it!!! This was pretty easy to make and ended up elegant and tasty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very good. This was very good. I would put more dijon mustard next time as I did not taste it much. I also added some chedder cheese between each layer for a little more kick. I did not use the swiss cheese at all but did use white cheddar. I LOVED this!!!!
