What You Need

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

NUTTER BUTTER Cookies, finely crushed (about 3 cups)

1/3

cup mashed ripe bananas

pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces, melted

1/2

cup PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts, finely chopped

Make It

MIX cream cheese, cookie crumbs and bananas until well blended.

SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. Dip in chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Sprinkle with nuts.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

How to Easily Dip Balls

To easily coat balls with the melted chocolate, add balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll balls in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove balls with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place balls in prepared pan; let stand until firm.

Not impressed with this. I couldn't get the chocolate to harden except for in the fridge. You didn't get a huge peanut butter taste from it either.

These were good and got rare reviews to the function I brought them to. However, they weren't quite as easy to make as described. My batter didn't seem like it would keep its shape, so I put it in the freezer for about 15 min before rolling into balls. That helped some, but they still were "gooey" to dip.

we didn't like it at all, the cream cheese just doesn't go well with nutter butters, very disappointed.

This is one of the BEST recipies I have made in a while. These are AMAZING and so easy to make! They really taste like a peanut butter chocolate covered banana, except better!!! I prefer to call them PB and banana split bon bons because they are WAY too good to be called cookies.

These are fabulous!!! Everyone loved them and I will be making them for a dessert for Easter 2011. They are so incredibly moist inside. I do love the nuts on top it adds to it a crunch which I love.

I burnt the chocolate :( BUT everyone said it tasted like a "banana split in my mouth" haha. I guess they still went over well! I will make again and take it easy on the heat.

Easiest recipe ever! I love bananas, peanut butter and chocolate so this is the perfect cookie. They also are pretty, so I am going to take them to the work Christmas party.
