Nutty Apple Graham Crisp

Canned apple pie filling sprinkled with a crumbly topping of graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, walnuts and butter is baked for a tempting dessert.

What You Need

can (21 oz.) country-style apple pie filling

cup HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs

1/4

cup flour

1/4

cup firmly packed light brown sugar

1/4

cup granulated sugar

1/4

cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

1/2

cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Spoon pie filling into 9-inch pie plate.

MIX graham crumbs, flour, sugars and walnuts in medium bowl. Stir in butter until well blended. Sprinkle over pie filling.

BAKE 25 to 30 min. or until hot and bubbly. Serve warm.

Very delicious!! I did double the recipe cause I added 2 cans instead of 1. I also added 1/2 cup of oats to the topping mixture. It turned out great and my Husband really liked it. I might try this recipe next week but use canned cherries instead of apples just to switch it up a bit.

This was delicious and, oh, so easy to make. My kids like to cook with me, and this was perfect for me and my 7 year old, Mikaila, to make together. We were going to wait until after dinner, but upon taking it out of the oven, it smelled too good. Everyone had a small dish and loved it. After dinner, we're going to serve it with vanilla ice cream. As Rachel Ray would say, Yum-O!

It was very good but I recommend that you add 1 more can of apples. It seemed kind of shallow. I also added a little cinnamon to the apples before I put the crisp topping on it. It was very good
