Orange-Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake

What You Need

1-1/2

cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs

1-1/4

cups sugar, divided

1/3

cup butter or margarine, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

eggs

Tbsp. orange-flavored liqueur

1/2

tsp. grated orange zest

oz. BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate, melted, slightly cooled

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 325°F if using a silver 9-inch springform pan (or to 300°F if using a dark nonstick 9-inch springform pan). Mix crumbs, 1/4 cup of the sugar and butter; press firmly onto bottom and 1-1/2 inches up side of pan. Bake 10 minutes.

BEAT cream cheese and remaining 1 cup sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating on low speed after each addition just until blended. Add liqueur and zest; mix well. Remove 2 cups of the batter; place in medium bowl. Add melted chocolate; mix well. Pour remaining batter over crust. Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate batter over plain batter. Cut through batters with knife several times for marble effect.

BAKE 55 minutes to 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run small knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

How to Soften Cream Cheese

Place completely unwrapped package of cream cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 sec. or just until softened. Add 15 sec. for each additional package of cream cheese.

This is my husband's favorite cheesecake. I intensify the flavor by adding 1 teaspoon orange extact to the batter in addition to the liquer and mix the chocolate into 1 1/2 cups batter instead of 2 cups of batter.

I was hoping for an orange flavor, this had little. Otherwise it was moist and easy to make.

This was a very good cheesecake. The only thing I had a problem with was that I had to buy a big bottle of orange liquer.

I was asked to market this cake! I hate baking but this one was easy enough for me to impress friends. Not only does it look good but it surely taste good too!

i made this for easter it was very good however i did not use the orange juse but i used orange maralade it was just as good as using the juice

I made this recipe with Orange Juice instead of the liquer and another one with Cherry Torani Syrup. They were both very good but I think next time, I'll add a bit more flavoring. I will most likely use an Oreo Cookie Crust as well, but that's just because I'm not too fond of Graham Cracker crusts. They were both a hit at our regular Pinochle Party. I'll make it again, for sure.
