Orange flavor gelatin is prepared with pineapple juice and studded with mandarin oranges and pineapple chunks for a refreshing salad or dessert.

What You Need

1
can  (8 oz.) pineapple chunks in juice, undrained
 Cold water
1-1/2
cups  boiling water
1
pkg.  (8-serving size) JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin
1
can  (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained

Make It

DRAIN pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough cold water to juice to measure 2 cups; set aside. Stir boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in pineapple liquid. Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves definite impression). Gently stir in pineapple chunks and oranges.

SPOON into serving bowl.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until firm. Store leftover gelatin in refrigerator.

Cooking Know-How
Do not use fresh or frozen pineapple since enzymes in these fruits will prevent the gelatin from setting.
