Some might argue the point, but they'd be wrong: There simply is no more delicious combination than salted peanuts, smooth vanilla ice cream and rich chocolate.

What You Need

OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 2-1/2 cups)

Tbsp. butter, melted

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

1-3/4

qt. (7 cups) vanilla ice cream, softened

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)

squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

cup PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts, coarsely chopped

Make It

MIX cookie crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Freeze until ready to use. Microwave peanut butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.; stir. Swirl peanut butter into ice cream; spread over crust. Freeze 30 min.

MICROWAVE COOL WHIP and chocolate in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after each minute.

SPREAD COOL WHIP mixture over ice cream layer; top with nuts. Freeze 4 hours. Remove from freezer 10 min. before serving; let stand at room temperature to soften slightly before cutting. Freeze leftovers.

Substitute

Substitute 1 cup caramel ice cream topping for the peanut butter. Do not microwave before pouring over ice cream layer.

Great tasting recipe. I received many compliments when served. However, your system does not allow me to print this in 3 x 5 recipe card form. Why does Kraft do this and only allow printing on full 8 x 10 paper?

I made this for Father's Day. I didn't change anything. It is a great ice cream dessert for those who love the combination of peanut butter and chocolate.Everyone loved it.

Tasty, easy and gorgeous! The Cool-whip/chocolate looked like a disaster at first, but I kept stirring and it turned out beautifully, like a $$ ganache! Used an Oreo store-bought crust to save time and effort. Reduced ingredients to fit the pie crust (Very easy to adjust ingredients.) Made bottom layer of chocolate ice cream w/Peanut butter and used peanuts and Reese's to separate layers. Topped with chopped Reese's and nuts. Was nice and rich, and a big hit for an anniversary dessert. Hubs loved it!

I made this for my husbands birthday party and it was so delish! I would use a little more butter to keep those crumbs together, and i made it with Haagen Daz vanila so it was so extra delish! Great for a larger group!

Just made this tonight for the first time and it was SO AMAZING my whole family loved it and it was so easy and I'm saying this as an 18 yr old ;]. I'll totally be making this again. Tastes like a frozen snickers bar enjoy!
