Caramelized onions take forever to make on the stovetop! In this shortcut recipe, they turn sweet and golden brown on a baking sheet in the oven.

24 servings, 2 Tbsp. each

What You Need

 sweet onions (2 lb.), thinly sliced, separated into rings
Tbsp.  A.1. Original Sauce
Tbsp.  olive oil

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

TOSS onions with steak sauce and oil.

SPREAD onto rimmed baking sheet.

BAKE 1 hour or until onions are golden brown, stirring every 20 min.

Caramelized Onion Crostini
Prepare recipe as directed. Spoon 1 Tbsp. onto each of 4 dozen toasted French baguette slices. Top evenly with 1 pkg. (4 oz.) ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese, adding about 1 tsp. to each.
