BUT, i've just finished reading some of the other ratings and there were some good suggestions. I MAY try this again with the variations I read about but I will never make it just as the recipe says to.

It's simply amazing! it takes like 2 minutes to whip up and everyone loved it and came back asking for more so i had to go buy more stuff lol!! I added pepper to the recipe and we used it for sandwiches.. also very good with club crackers!!!

This is pretty good, but I liked the chicken salad that was included in the winter 2004 Food & Family, which is originally for leftover turkey and includes celery seed. It's a great idea to eat this with Triscuits rather than just as a sandwich.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make this recipe often. I make this recipe often. I have made it as directed and loved it, but I usually make it with extra celery, freshly ground pepper, and sunflower seeds. This is the best chicken salad ever!! Everyone who has tried mine has loved it. Terrific!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this basic chicken salad recipe! I love this basic chicken salad recipe!! I left out the sour cream and some of the celery. I added sweet pickle relish and sliced water chestnuts for crunch. I also added a little sugar and one chopped boiled egg. YUM YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!

The man of the house requested a BIG bowl of it so I'll be doubling it at least. Plus I added chopped onions and a lil tweak of sugar for sweetness. : )
