Parmesan Pasta for Two

Two servings of creamy Parmesan pasta in 20 minutes. Is it too good to be true? Nope. It's just an easy everyday recipe cooked up for you and a friend.

2 servings, 1-1/2 cups each

What You Need

oz.  spaghetti, uncooked
Tbsp.  butter or margarine
clove  garlic, minced
large  tomato, chopped
cup  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
Tbsp.  chopped fresh basil

Make It

COOK spaghetti in large saucepan as directed on package; drain. Cover to keep warm.

MELT butter in same pan on medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 3 min. or until tender. Add spaghetti; toss to coat. Add tomatoes; mix lightly.

TOP with cheese and basil.

How to Chop Fresh Leafy Herbs
To easily chop fresh leafy herbs, such as cilantro, parsley, basil, mint and sage, pick the leaves from the stems and place on a cutting board. Using a chef's knife and holding the tip end down, cut back and forth across the herbs. Be sure that your knife is sharp - a dull knife will bruise the leaves. Use the herbs as soon as possible after chopping.
