Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the BEST cheese ball ever! This is the BEST cheese ball ever! So perfect. The only thing that I did differently was I did add a little bit more chopped finely red bell pepper (like a extra 2 tablespoons)! Perfect for the party, everyone kept asking me for the recipe! I actually cut the recipe in half and my family and I are having it to go with dinner tonight! I make it the night before so it can firm in the refrigerator over night and I think it makes the flavors really come together!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to make and so good! Easy to make and so good! My husband thought that I had bought it at a store! I took out the bell pepper, no one here likes them, added a touch more red pepper, and used finely chopped ALMONDS instead of the nuts called for. I also used onion powder instead of the chopped onions! This keeps it a nice and creamy spread loved by ALL!! We had it for the first time on Thanksgiving, and now I'll be making it for our Christmas party. ENJOY!!

This recipe was is in a Kraft Recipe book that I purchased about 25 years ago and I have been making this cheese ball for years for entertaining and for Christmas gifts. There are people, i.e. my boss, that depends on getting this cheese ball for Christmas. I am expected to make this cheese ball for our Christmas 'snacking' at work and for our family gatherings. Since I am not a good cook, this recipe has done wonders for my 'cooking' ego.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from When kids ask for more cheese ball instead of nachos, you know you've got a winner! When kids ask for more cheese ball instead of nachos, you know you've got a winner! Everyplace I bring this it's a hit! I used fresh chives instead of onions, and roasted red bell peppers from a jar in same amounts listed. Also use Nuefchatel 1/3 less fat cheese and 2% sharp for lower fat content; SAME GREAT TASTE! Also, I don't use the nuts, and serve it with cocktail sauce on the side for a little zip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My friend's Dad made this 30 years ago. My friend's Dad made this 30 years ago. To the best of my recollection it came off a Kraft Cracker Barrel Cheddar cheese recipe. I've been making it for years and everyone LOVES it! I use sharp cheddar and dice pimento stuffed green olives into the mix. I also slice some to decorate the outside. I find rolling it into a log actually works best. Bon Appetit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is always a party favorite. This is always a party favorite. Everyone always wants the recipe. We shape the cheese in a log shape. You can make it in advance. After wrapping in plastic wrap, we wrap in aluminum foil and chill in refrig. Then we wrap it in Christmas material and tie it off with red ribbon and bring it to a party with crackers. It's a big hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect cheese appetizer. The perfect cheese appetizer. I didn't make the ball shape or roll in nuts, I just served it in a dish to save on time. It was wonderful. We all loved it. I made half of it with chopped ham as well, which was also good. I will definitely make it again, and I cannot wait to try it with summer sausage.
