  • Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to boiling water for the last 4 min.; drain.
  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Stir in garlic and crushed pepper; cook 2 min. Add pasta mixture and franks; stir. Cook 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently.
  • Top with cheese.

Substitute

Substitute broccolini for the broccoli. A cross between broccoli and Chinese kale, broccolini has long slender stalks and miniature florettes. Look for it in the produce section of your grocery store where it might also be labelled as baby broccoli.

Special Extra

Add 1 cup fresh spinach to pasta mixture before topping with cheese.
