Here's our version of the classic Italian dish, Pasta Putanesca, made with refrigerated linguini and ready to serve in just 25 minutes.

What You Need

pkg.  (9 oz.) refrigerated linguine
1
tsp.  olive oil
1/4
cup  chopped onions
1-3/4
cups  marinara sauce
1/4
cup  sliced black olives
2
Tbsp.  capers
1/8
tsp.  crushed red pepper
1/2
cup  DI GIORNO Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package.

MEANWHILE, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions; cook and stir 3 min. or until tender. Add marinara sauce, olives, capers and crushed red pepper; mix well. Reduce heat to medium; simmer 3 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

DRAIN pasta; place in large bowl. Add sauce; toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese.

Creative Leftovers
Cover and refrigerate any leftovers. To reheat, place in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 30 sec. or until heated through, adding small amount of broth or water to moisten, if necessary.
For Spicier Pasta
Increase crushed red pepper to 1/4 tsp.
