Pasta Salad

This big, bright, cheery-looking penne pasta salad is made with red onions, red peppers, baby carrots and cherry tomatoes.

What You Need

cups penne pasta, uncooked

medium red onion, chopped

medium red pepper, chopped

cup sliced baby carrots

cup halved cherry tomatoes

1/2

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

cup prepared GOOD SEASONS Italian Dressing Mix

Make It

COOK pasta. Drain, rinse and cool. Place in large bowl.

ADD onions, peppers, carrots and tomatoes. Stir in Parmesan cheese.

POUR dressing over pasta mixture; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

The flavors in this salad work very well together. I just finished making it for our Memorial Day barbecue later this afternoon.

I used whole wheat pasta. Cooked the pasta a little longer than directions told. Very Good

i made this recipe and my family loved it . I also added sliced black olives and some chopped green bell pepper to add more color than red. It was great and they have asked for it to be made often.

a nice side dish as well as a main meal . i would add chopped zuccinni and fresh pea pods and some shredded cheese. i would also add some diced chicken and make it a meal.

This pasta salad is so easy to make. It tastes comparably to those found at restaurants. The recipe makes enough so that you can take it to any family gathering.
