I also thought it was bland and added spaghetti sauce.
We made with broccoli instead and it was very delicious, although a little bit bland. I would definitely add some fresh herbs instead.
It was just okay...I used a little tomato sauce instead of tomatoes since I'm not a huge tomato fan, and it was still really bland. I added extra of all the spices and even some others but still couldn't get the flavor I wanted.
