What You Need

3/4
cup  KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing, divided
1
large   bunch fresh cilantro, stems removed
1
cup  PLANTERS Slivered Almonds
1
 jalapeño pepper, stemmed
2
cloves  garlic
1
pkg.  (16 oz.) farfalle (bow-tie pasta)
6
 carrots (1-1/2 lb.), thinly sliced
1
lb.  fresh asparagus spears, trimmed, cut into 2-inch lengths
1
 red onion, sliced
1
cup  KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
1/4
cup  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

BLEND 1/2 cup dressing, cilantro, nuts, pepper and garlic in blender until smooth.

COOK pasta as directed on package. Meanwhile, heat remaining dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add carrots, asparagus and onions; cook 8 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently.

DRAIN pasta; place in large bowl. Stir in mozzarella, dressing mixture and vegetable mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan.

Variation
Prepare using your favorite pasta and/or substituting trimmed fresh green beans for the asparagus.
Variation
For a milder taste, this pesto-style sauce can also be made by substituting 1 large bunch Italian parsley for the cilantro.
