Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and patriotic for July 4th party This was an easy dessert to make, however, Kraft really needs to update their recipe. The pudding mix does not come in the size box indicated. I used the larger box which makes six 1/2 cup servings. The pudding mix calls for 3 cups cold milk, and the recipe calls for a cup and a half--I guessed at this putting in 2 1/2 cups milk. It also does not need a cup of marshmallows in the pudding/Cool Whip mixture. Also, the refrigerated sugar cookies do not come in a 20 oz package--it's a 16 oz pkg nowadays, but if using a 12-14 inch pizza pan, the 16 oz package would be enough. I bought two packages of cookies, using a quarter of the second package and the cookies overflowed the pan when baking. Overall, it was a hit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made this recipe numerous times. I have made this recipe numerous times. One variety is to make it in a rectangle cookie sheet. You can then make to look like a flag. I use strawberries for the stripes. blueberries (Background for star area) and marshmallows for the stars. (I ususally cut the sm. marshmallows in 1/2 to make the stars) Also if you want you can use the marshmallows for the white stripes. This is great for the 4th of July.
