Substitute 1 can (16 oz.) pear halves, undrained, for peaches, omitting water.

I used 2 C of fresh peaches with 1&1/2 C of water and 1/2 C of sugar and 2Tbsp of Min Tapioca,let stand 5 minutes then mashed some of the peaches and brought up to a boil and stirred while boiling for 3 min. added 1 c of fresh blueberries & cooled with plastic wrap on surface. YUM!
I used 2 cups fresh peaches instead of canned and 1 1/2 cups water and upped the sugar to a cup it turned out great!
