  • Mix cream cheese, cookie crumbs and bananas until blended.
  • Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls. Dip in chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.

Size Wise

Sweets can be part of a balanced diet but remember to keep tabs on portions.

How to Store

Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

How to Make the Cookie Crumbs

Crushing the peanut butter sandwich cookies is a cinch with a rolling pin and a resealable plastic food storage bag. Or, process the cookies in your food processor or blender.

How to Melt the Chocolate

Place chocolate in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 min. or until chocolate is completely melted, stirring every 30 sec.

How to Easily Dip Balls

To easily coat balls with the melted chocolate, add balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll balls in chocolate until evenly coated. Remove balls with forks, letting excess chocolate drip back into bowl. Place balls in prepared pan; let stand until firm.

Note

If any melted chocolate remains after all balls are coated, store in tightly covered container at room temperature until ready to use for another use.

Soften Cream Cheese

Place completely unwrapped package of cream cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 sec. or just until softened. Add 15 sec. for each additional package of cream cheese.

However, they weren't quite as easy to make as described. My batter didn't seem like it would keep its shape, so I put it in the freezer for about 15 min before rolling into balls. That helped some, but they still were "gooey" to dip.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed with this. Not impressed with this. I couldn't get the chocolate to harden except for in the fridge. You didn't get a huge peanut butter taste from it either.
