Size Wise

You don't have to miss out on your favorite foods if eaten in moderation and mindful of portions. A serving of this sweet treat can fit into a balanced diet on occasion.

Special Extra

Garnish each slice with a vanilla wafer just before serving.

How to Make Chocolate Curls

Warm BAKER'S Chocolate slightly by heating it, unwrapped, in the microwave for a few seconds until you can just smudge the chocolate with your thumb. Hold the chocolate steadily between thumb and fingers of one hand and draw a peeler slowly over flat bottom of chocolate. Allow a thin layer of chocolate to curl as it is peeled off the bottom. This will make long, delicate curls. Make short curls using the same technique on the narrow sides of the square. To arrange curls on a dessert, use a toothpick to lift them into place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made this pie several times and found a graham cracker crust to be much tastier. I have made this pie several times and found a graham cracker crust to be much tastier. I also add about 1/4 cup peanut butter to the pudding mixture and it adds a subtle peanut butter flavor that I think it needs. I also omit the cool whip and chocolate shavings on top, but still add the peanuts. I think the peanuts really add to the flavor of the pie. Everyone loves it, but it is very rich, so I serve small slices...which goes a long way. Will make again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We loved this recipe. We loved this recipe. But I did change it around a little bit. I used Milk Chocolate Chips instead of the Baker's Semi Sweet Chocolate. And instead of topping with the curls and peanuts, I just shaved some of the Milk Chocolate Chips on top of the Whipped Topping. But I found that I had to double the peanut butter and chocolate to put on top of the bananas as it didn't cover it like it showed in the picture. But it is Really Good and can't wait to make again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite recipe! My new favorite recipe! I bake for my golf group most weekends and this was a huge success. It even went before the kraftfoods simply sensational strawberry shortcake, the most requested dessert I make. The mix of flavors in this is perfect, and it's so easy to make. Thanks to all who rated this because I try to make one new dessert each week based on ingredients I have on hand and what has the highest rating here. You were right!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this for Easter and it went over very good. I made this for Easter and it went over very good. Everyone thought it was excellent. I had a problem with melting the peanut butter and chocolate, would recommend that you microwave it 1 min. at a time as my microwave was too hot to melt the choc. and it burned. I had to start over and and throw the first batch out. But it turned out well when i melted it 1 min. at a time. Will definately make this again. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pie! Love this pie! I could eat a slice of it every day! It is so easy and so yummy! The only thing I would change is to slice the bananas instead of cutting them in half. The last time I made this pie, I used banana pudding with a little of the vanilla and I think next time I would use all banana pudding. But either pudding would be excellent! This is a great recipe for easy entertaining and a quick dessert!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used skim milk with the pudding mix and it didnt get hard it stayed very watery. I used skim milk with the pudding mix and it didnt get hard it stayed very watery. I shouldve used whole milk. And i used a pre-made shortbread crust that was very good. I also used unsweetend chocolate squares and i sweetened it with powdered sugar until it tasted sweet enough. I didnt do any chocolate chavings on top, only nuts. All in all it was VERY good!! I loved the peanut butter taste in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this pie twice in two weeks. Made this pie twice in two weeks. First time used an Oreo crust, reduce-fat Peanut butter, fat free-sugar free french vanilla pudding w/ 2% milk and light cool whip. Came out great, held up wonderful, tasted awesome. Second time I used no crust and 0% milk and it still came out great. I am always looking for ways to cut calories and this time it worked.
