Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been looking for a great peanut butter cookie recipe and I tried this one. I have been looking for a great peanut butter cookie recipe and I tried this one. It is the greatest! The recipe says it yields 2 1/2 dozen, but I was able to make over sixty decent-sized cookies. I even made some peanut butter blossoms. If you're looking for a great recipe, this is the one!

The only thing I different: I remember ****** these with my Grandmother, she would hand roll them, then use the fork to flatten a bit. I liked the idea someone else suggested with the flour on the fork, I changed it up by using cinnamon, just for a tad bit flavor.

I grew up with my mom making this recipe and I have been making these for as long as I can remember and they have always been a hit. I dip my fork in lightly in flour before making the crisscross to keep the dough from sticking to the fork.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipes is the greatest! This recipes is the greatest! None better. I only have one suggestion is that after dropping the dough on the cookie sheet, bake them for 2 minutes before flattening them crisscross. It prevents the dough from sticking to the fork.
