In this neat twist on the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the bread is replaced with toasted frozen waffles—and a sliced apple adds some crunch.

What You Need

 frozen waffles, toasted, cooled

Tbsp.  PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2
 of a small apple, sliced
1
Tbsp.  jam or preserves, any flavor

Make It

SPREAD 1 waffle with peanut butter; top with apple slices. Spread second waffle with jam; place, jam side down, over apple-topped waffle.

CUT sandwich in half; wrap in plastic wrap or foil.

REFRIGERATE until ready to serve.

Serve with an 8-oz. glass of milk and 1/2 cup carrot sticks.

For best results, store sandwich in refrigerator no longer than 4 hours before serving.
Substitute
