  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Beat butter, cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, mixing well after each addition. Add nuts; mix well.
  • Roll dough into 42 (1-inch) balls. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Use bottom of small glass dipped in remaining granulated sugar to press balls into 1/4-inch-thick rounds.
  • Bake 8 to 10 min. or until bottoms are golden brown. Cool 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and delicious I just pulled these babies out of the oven and couldn't wait for them to cool off so I had 1......or maybe it was 2 haha ok it was 3! With minimal ingredients these are so easy! I lined my cookie sheet with parchment paper and had to bake them a few minutes longer to get the bottoms brown. I toasted my pecans on the stove top for several minutes on medium. Simple and delicious!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missed The Mark Easy to make. However, lacking in the flavor department. I had a friend stop by just as the cookies had cooled so we tried them together. They asked me, "are these gluten free?". I'm quite an experienced baker and could not get the tops nice and "brown" as the picture shows. Had to bake them a bit longer than indicated for the bottoms to even remotely brown, even after using real butter in the recipe. I just simply found these to be so lacking that they are not even worth my time to experiment with changing/adding to the recipe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tasteless! Easy to make, but no flavor. I thought with sugar in the batter and on the top this cookie would've been sweeter. Not the case. No one in the family liked these, I had to throw the whole batch away.
