Peppercorn Lover's Burger

Sometimes you want a burger with the works. Other times you want to keep it simple—like this burger, topped with onions and peppercorn steak sauce.

What You Need

 red onion slices, 1/4 inch thick
1
lb.  ground beef
1/2
cup  A.1. Cracked Peppercorn Sauce, divided
4
 kaiser rolls, split

Make It

HEAT grill to medium heat.

SPRAY both sides of onions with cooking spray. Mix meat and 1/4 cup steak sauce; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.

GRILL patties 5 min.; turn. Add onions to grill; cook 5 min. or until burgers are done (160ºF), brushing occasionally with remaining steak sauce and turning onions after 3 min.

FILL rolls with burgers and onions.

Keeping It Safe
Always wash hands after handling raw meat. Never place cooked food on the same platter used for raw food - use a clean platter instead. Discard any leftover barbecue sauce that has been in contact with raw meat, fish or poultry.
