To make JELL-O Gelatin that is clear and uniformly set, be sure the gelatin is completely dissolved in the boiling water before adding the cold liquid. Stirring with a rubber spatula will help ensure that all the crystals are dissolved.
Store leftover parfaits in refrigerator.

Oh my goodness, these are soooo good. I made these to try out and was surprised at how easy and delicious they were. These will definitely be on my baking menu for Christmas treats for every Christmas from here on out. YUM!
This recipe has a uniquely wonderful taste and texture. I first made it several years ago in a jell-o promotional candy cane mold. All of the guests loved it. My young nieces and nephews couldn't get enough. It is reminiscent of the jell-o desserts from my childhood, yet it isn't too dated. (such as the cheese and jello combos.. ewww) I strongly recommend adopting this recipe into your family favorites.
