These two dips were really good, but there was still some left after the two gatherings I took it to. I didn’t measure the sour cream and put more in one than the other. Because of this, I don’t think the one with more tasted just right. However, the one with the shorted sour cream was really good and the perfect thickness. I would recommend slightly less sour cream than the recipe calls for in both.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Many thanks for this recipe. Many thanks for this recipe. We had a gathering at work for a woman who returned to work after having a baby and my dips were the favorites. Everybody loved the roasted red pepper dip and the pesto dip was an acquired taste for some. Very easy to make, but think that I'll reduce the pesto added to the dip next time. The Triscuits won out over the Wheat Thins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a delicious and colorful addition to my Christmas Eve gathering. What a delicious and colorful addition to my Christmas Eve gathering. I served these dips in hallowed out peppers - the pesto in a red pepper and the red pepper dip in a green pepper - and offered veggies and crackers with each. I received compliments all evening and could not keep the service vessels full!!! A GREAT offering for any type of gathering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Okay, some people are saying that this dip is tasteless. Okay, some people are saying that this dip is tasteless. Here's the deal: The ingredients are good, the problem lies in the method. Forget about creating two separate dips. Combine all of the ingredients to make one dip, then add 1/4 to 1/2 (to your liking) of grated parmesan cheese. It's delicious fixed this way. Try it!

I made this as one dip, as previously suggested, and added a clove of minced garlic; took it to a party and everyone seemd to like it. I saved some for myself when I made it and will try it on a pounded thin chicken breast, coat it with this dip, roll it up and bake it. I'm hoping it will be very tasty.

It's easy to see why they wouldn't be a tastebud thriller by themselves: neither one has enough zest. Mix them together for adequate tastiness! I created a Roasted Red Pepper and Pesto dip, garnished with chopped peppers and some fresh herbs. Win!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! Excellent!! Made this for a neighbor's dinner party and everyone loved it. The recipe made so much that I took it to the school where I teach and they went nuts over it. Definitely a keeper!! Will be nice to serve at Christmas time since it is green and red.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've made this recipe twice so far. I've made this recipe twice so far. I second time I used a roasted red pepper relish that was hotter than the roasted red peppers I used first. It was much better hotter and with the relish. Everyone loved both dips and I had to give out the recipe. Thanks
