Use a 2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter and place it just above the center of the chilled cheesecake. Sprinkle green cake decorating crystals in the cookie cutter. To maintain heart shape, use a light touch when sprinkling crystals. Remove the cookie cutter and place it directly to the right side of the heart you just made, with the bottom points touching. Repeat sprinkling the crystals. Next, make a third and last green heart on the left side of the center heart, again, bottom points touching.
Enjoy a serving of this rich and indulgent cheesecake on a special occasion.
Prepare as directed, substituting 2 Tbsp. almond-flavored liqueur for the creme de menthe and using a ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust. Top with 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling just before serving.

very good, it's very easy to make.
I made this for saint patty day. The middle did not do what i wanted it to do but it came out better than i thought it would. Very rich and creamy. It was all eaten.
I made this recipe with 1/4 tsp. mint extract and some green food coloring instead of the cream de menthe. It gave it a much better mint flavor. Next time I think I would probably put more mint extract in.
