  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer until blended. Add eggs; beat just until blended.
  • Remove 1 cup batter; mix with melted chocolate. Pour into crust; top with remaining plain batter.
  • Bake 40 min. or until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours. Top with COOL WHIP and berries just before serving.

Cheesecake Bars

Omit crust. Line 8-inch square pan with foil. Mix 1-1/2 cups OREO Chocolate Cookie Crumbs and 1/4 cup melted butter; press onto bottom of prepared pan. Prepare cheesecake batters and layer over crust as directed. Bake and cool as directed. Cut into 16 bars. Makes 16 servings.

Variation

Prepare as directed, using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese and substituting 1/2 cup cholesterol-free egg product for the 2 eggs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i made this for my son's birthday... i made this for my son's birthday... i also used a regular graham cracker crust instead of a chocolate crust, PLUS upgraded it from "plain" strawberries to "chocolate-coated" strawberries (http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/chocolate-berry-treats-104539.aspx). it looked and tasted even better!!

If your looking for something that tastes delicious and isn't too difficult, choose this recipe :) I cut the cake into small little squares, added whip cream and a piece of strawberry on top. Everyone loved them!!!!
