I have been whipping this recipe up since it first appeared on the back of the oreo ready-made piecrust label. It is easy to prepare. The recipe I like the best deviates from this one just slightly. After preparing the cheesecake batter, remove one cup of the batter and mix it with 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. Pour the remaining batter into the piecrust. swirl in the cup of chocolate batter, and bake as directed. You may top with raspberries before serving. With so few ingredients, and a ready-made pie crust, it's super-easy to prepare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My fiancee is not a fan of cheesecake or my baking. My fiancee is not a fan of cheesecake or my baking. I made this for myself because I love cheesecake. Well he saw it when I was getting my first slice and commented he might try it. Well today he did and said it was the best he ever had and he loved it. Personally I was impressed with the taste with it not being store brought. Great simple recipe and oh so tasty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this for the first time two nights ago & it was wonderful! I made this for the first time two nights ago & it was wonderful! Our guests loved it & asked for the recipe. I know I will be making this a lot. I think this would also be great with a grahm cracker crust & fresh fruit or piefilling on top. I used Neufchatel Cheese with 1/3 less fat & added extra oreos to the batter. It is absolutely YUMMY!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was a very good cheesecake. This was a very good cheesecake. I did however use a springform instead and make my own oreo crust. I also altered the recipe and used three packages of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, 1cup of sourcream, and 3 eggs. It looks much better than using the ready made crust. However, in a time crunch, the ready made crust is easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe is simple and it turned out great. This recipe is simple and it turned out great. My children gave it a superb review. The person who states it was awful must have done something wrong. Maybe they should try just one more time. This will definitely become a tradition for holiday meals

They try to tell me to make Mexican food, but this is a great dessert that no 'flan' could ever beat! Great to make if you like something sweet and cold for dessert.
