I've made this cheescake twice and absolutely love it. Great recipe I like to add sliced strawberries with strawberry glaze on top as an added touch.

What You Need

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

1/2

tsp. vanilla

eggs

1/4

cup strawberry preserves

drops red food coloring

HONEY MAID Graham Pie Crust (6 oz.)

cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

medium strawberries, sliced

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix just until blended. Remove 1 cup of the batter. Add preserves and food coloring; stir until well blended. Pour into crust; cover with the remaining plain batter.

BAKE 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool.

REFRIGERATE 3 hours or overnight. Top with the whipped topping and strawberries just before serving. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

I am eating the cheesecake as I write and it is delicious. Not too sweet, not too cheesy, just right. I agree about putting the plain batter in first because of the thickness but regardless in any matter that it goes it looks intriguing and tastes great. I will definitely make this recipe again!

I like this cheesecake, but I would think that putting the plain batter in first would be ideal as the strawberry is a bit thinner. The plain batter was so heavy that it wanted to mix with the strawberry. Tastes good though.

This is by far THE BEST cheese cake recipe I have ever had. So easy and sooooooo yummy. As are all of the 3 step cheese cake recipes!!!!

I have made this recipe at least seven times. It is a wonderful recipe. It is easy and my family loves it !! The only variation I have made is not topping the cheescake with cool whip or strawberries, it is perfect on it's own !

This recipe is fabulous! It was my first time making a cheese cake and it came out unexpectedly well. I also decorated the cake with a spider web design on the top by using chocolate decorating icing tubes. The entire cake was gone in less than 2 hours. My friend who came to just take a look at my cake ended up wanting a slice. I’m going to bake another one again very soon =)

I used raspberry preserves and fresh raspberries instead, it turned out delicious! brough it to a church potluck and it was gone in a matter of minutes. If I had to change anything it would be the crust, the graham cracker crust tends to be a little dry!
