Rated 5 out of 5 by from My all time favorite frosting recipe. My all time favorite frosting recipe. To the person who is concerned ab*****hildhood obesity, you should not be feeding cake with frosting to your kids. As for us adults, so far, it is not illegal to make frosting with ***** cheese and 4 cups of sugar. In fact, I usually make my frosting with 1 and 1/2 bricks of ***** cheese, and, about 5 1/2 cups of sugar, and, my frosting has plenty of ***** cheese flavor. I make cakes only during the Christmas holidays. I want enough frosting to fill and cover 2 layers, generously. My cakes disappear long before the food is gone. Everyone raves over my lemon cake with lemon ***** cheese frosting, and, my devil's food cake with ***** cheese frosting. Nobody says that one should eat cake every day. Who has a problem with occasional indulgence?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I also thought that this recipe had way too much sugar. I also thought that this recipe had way too much sugar. I wanted to be able to taste the cream cheese so I mixed the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla together, then added sugar until I got what I wanted. I stopped at 1 cup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great recipe! Great recipe! I have tried other version of cream cheese frosting and they would come out runny. But this one was smooth w/some firmness to it. Just right to spread on my cupcakes. I even poked a hole in them and filled them up w/the cream cheese and spread the rest on top. Delicious and everyone loved them. =)
