I make this using Crescent rolls pressed into a pan with a sprinkle of cinn/sugar on the dough before baking. Add 1/4 cup of sugar,lemonaid or Tang mix to the cream cheese,spread,THEN cut into pieces before I sprinkle the different types of fruit I have decided to use for the day. I also make a veggie version, omit the cinnamon sugar, mix in a package of taco mix (Ranch,onion soup mix, your choice)with the cream cheese and add small bite size pieces of veggies. I never have left overs.
