  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar and egg with mixer until well blended.
  • Prepare bread batter as directed on package; pour half into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray; cover with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining batter; swirl gently with knife.
  • Bake 55 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove from pan to wire rack; cool completely. Store, tightly wrapped, in refrigerator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is wonderful! This is wonderful! I made three different batches (blueberry, orange-cranberry and cinnamon swirl) into muffins and took them to the office. They were a hit! Especially the cinnamon swirl. One lady, who rarely eats goodies we bring in because she's always on a diet, ate THREE muffins! She told me I'm never to bring anything to the office again. LOL! I was asked numerous times for the recipe and was almost ashamed to admit how easy it was because the muffins are so gourmet-like. My DH made me promise to make them for Easter breakfast, and he's not really much on sweets. Do yourself a favor and try this recipe!!

This recipe was very good, however my cream cheese center did not seem to be "cheescakey" enough? I might have done something wrong. Everyone else said it was fine....but to me the cream cheese mixture was not sweet enough after it was baked. Will be trying this one again though!

I added about 3/4 of a very ripe banana and about 10 dates chopped into small pieces to the banana bread mix. It was so yummy. I will make it again and plan to try different Bread mixes.
