  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Clean mushrooms. Remove and discard stems.
  • Mix cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, mayonnaise, onion and Parmesan cheese; set aside.
  • Put stuffing mix in separate bowl.
  • Stuff mushrooms with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Press cream cheese side of mushrooms into the stuffing mix until well coated.
  • Place mushrooms, cream cheese sides up, on a baking pan, then drizzle with the melted butter.
  • Bake for 30 min. Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper. Enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this for New Years Eve for a app.. I made this for New Years Eve for a app.. I cut the recipie in half and added bacon bits to the mixture.. Mmmm.. Love it.. Didnt use all the mixture so I saved it and use it last night.. Still great.. This time I use extra butter in the pan and melted provone cheese on top the mushrooms the last 10 mintues.. They turned out better then the first time.. Highly recommend..

When I prepared this for guests, I modifid the recipe by using Ranch dip instead of the mayo and Italian dressing. I also used Panko bread crumbs instead of stuffing. This was a bg hit!

I used aged asiago cheese & imitation crab meat that I wanted to use up, fresh tomatoes, red onions and Ritz instead of bread crumbs. Next time I will try different veggies, canned salmon, etc. Also I plan to add some parmesan cheese to the Ritz, & put the mushrooms under the broiler for added crunch to the crackers. Plus, instead of the dry Italian dressing, I may try dry ranch dressing. Yummy!

I've found the filling is enough for about 5 packages of the baby bella mushrooms; great recipe for a medium to large party or picnic.

I used French Fried Onions instead of Stuffing and as another person said the filling is defintly enough for at least 5-8oz containers of mushrooms.
