  • Combine peas, onions, peppers and garlic in medium bowl.
  • Add dressing; mix lightly.
  • Refrigerate 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve on lettuce-covered plates.


Substitute 2 cans (15 oz. each) black beans for the peas.

To Double

If serving at a potluck dinner or as part of a buffet, prepare as directed doubling all ingredients. Serve in a lettuce-lined bowl or on a lettuce-covered platter. Makes 16 servings.

    A great salad --- just makes one think of summer days and sitting on the porch. (I also made it once with Kraft Poppyseed Dressing --- it is a sweeter dressing --- really good as well!)
