  • 1. In a medium mixing bowl beat egg slightly with a fork. Stir in the oats, 2 tablespoons catsup, dried Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Add ground beef; mix well. Shape mixture into four 3/4-inch-thick patties.
  • 2. Place patties on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 12 to 14 minutes or an instant-read thermometer inserted in side of patty registers 160 degrees F, turning once. Top with cheese; broil about 1 minute more or until cheese is melted.
  • 3. Serve hot pizza burgers on toasted buns or Kaiser rolls with lettuce, tomato slices, and additional catsup and/or other condiments, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
