  • Heat broiler.
  • Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 1 to 2 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
  • Combine tomatoes, basil and onions in medium bowl. Add dressing; mix lightly.
  • Spoon tomato mixture onto toast slices just before serving.

Special Extra

Mince 1 garlic clove; mix with tomato mixture before using as directed.

How to Ripen Tomatoes

Most tomatoes require some ripening at home. To do so, place tomatoes in a closed brown paper bag and store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. After tomatoes turn red, remove them from the bag and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
