  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Place bread, cut-sides up, on baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until golden brown.
  • Spread bread halves evenly with pesto; top with remaining ingredients.
  • Bake an additional 8 to 10 min. or until cheeses are melted. Cut each bread piece into 12 slices. Serve warm.

Special Extra

Garnish with chopped fresh basil just before serving.

    Very good and a great way to use Pesto when you have it already made in the freezer. I might add also great with the wonderful garden fresh tomatoes! To the person who rated this on 8/24/10...RE the difficulty slicing the bread...slice the bread before adding the pesto and tomatoes, etc., but DO NOT slice all the way through. You will find it much easier!
