  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Chop 6 oz. of the mozzarella cheese; place in large bowl. Cut remaining 4 oz. mozzarella cheese into thin slices; set aside for later use. Add tomato sauce and ricotta cheese to chopped cheese; mix well. Add pasta, salt and pepper; mix lightly.
  • Pour into lightly greased 2-quart baking dish; top with sliced cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a side salad of mixed greens and fresh vegetables topped with your favorite KRAFT Light Dressing.

Substitute

Substitute POLLY-O Grated Romano Cheese for the Parmesan cheese.

Best of Season

For a great fresh flavor boost, take advantage of fresh herbs, such as basil and parsley, when available. Stir in 1/4 cup each chopped fresh basil and parsley with the tomato sauce.

    We absolutely LOVE this recipe at my house, husband said its the best ziti he's ever had! Instead of 2c of tomato sauce i just use a whole jar of spaghetti sauce, and just a little under a pound of ziti (otherwise its a little too dry). And of course a little extra moz :) Enjoy, we do everytime!

    I love this recipe. It is one of my husband's favorites. However, once done the sauce is always a little dry for me so I now add more sauce which helps balance out all the cheese anyway. Great recipe for having friends over.
