  • Melt butter in small skillet on medium high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender. Add garlic; cook and stir 30 seconds.
  • Add onion mixture to combined meat, rice, egg and seasonings in large bowl. Add 1/4 cup water; mix until well blended. Shape into 30 meatballs.
  • Mix spaghetti sauce and 1/2 cup water in skillet. Bring to boil; add meatballs. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.

Serving Suggestion

Round out each serving with 1/2 cup of your favorite hot cooked pasta and a serving of sauteed vegetables.


Substitute thawed frozen LOUIS RICH Ground Turkey for the ground beef.

    i actually use this recipe all the time without the rice. i don't like it with the rice. it is the PERFECT meatball recipe. goes great with spaghetti. i love it!!! all i do is omit the rice and it tastes SO GOOD!

    My family really enjoys spaghetti. We tried this and I make it this way every time now. My kids are picky eaters and they both really enjoy this.
