Make It

Tap or click steps to mark as complete

  • Heat large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat. Add meat; cook 2 min. on each side or until lightly browned on both sides.
  • Add cream cheese, broth, dressing, Parmesan and lemon juice; cook 5 to 7 min. or until cream cheese is melted, sauce is thickened and meat is done, stirring constantly.
  • Spoon over noodles; top with basil. Serve with peas.

Serving Suggestion

Serve this oh-so-simple main dish with a mixed green salad for a quick-and-tasty weekday meal.

Preparing Perfect Pasta

Follow the package directions to ensure that enough water is used for cooking the pasta. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente (tender but still a little firm to the bite), stirring frequently. To prevent pasta from sticking, add it slowly to plenty of boiling water and stir frequently while cooking. Adding oil to the cooking water is not recommended because some sauces may not cling to pasta coated with oil.

Our family loves this recipe and I always make the one pan roast pork and parmesan fries a few days before and cook extra so that there's leftovers to make this. Like most recipes I end up editing to suit our taste. We prefer using the sun dried tomato vinegrette, I just buy a jar of alfredo sauce rather than making it, I skip the lemon juice, add fresh mushrooms, and keep everything else the same. It turns out fantastic and even my kids ask for seconds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband and I both loved this. My husband and I both loved this. It had a great flavor. It really didn't taste like alfredo, but reminded me of a German dish that I make that has sauerkraut in it. My husband doesn't like the German dish because of the sauerkraut, but this had the sour flavor without the sauerkraut. I did not use prok tenderloin, but some slices of pork loin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I'm sorry, but this recipe was gross...no other words, but just plain gross. I'm sorry, but this recipe was gross...no other words, but just plain gross. It made me wonder if the person who made this recipe has ever tasted alfredo sauce..... My family couldn't even stand the smell of it (my windows are still open all around the house to air it out) and when we all took a bite, we called for pizza right away.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not recommend this to anyone. I would not recommend this to anyone. I like balsamic vinaigrette on salads but in this it was horrible. The sauce got too thick, it tasted very tangy, it smelled bad, and everytime I tried to take a bite my husband laughed because he said you shouldn't make that kind of face when you eat. I would never try to make this again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I made this three days ago. I made this three days ago. I was extremely excited because I love pork tenderloin, and I love alfredo; this should have been a match made in heaven. I am not an inexperienced cook, and I checked the recipe several times. The dish had a strange flavor that came from the dressing. I did not enjoy it, and neither did my husband.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from First let me say I have made tons of recipes from this site and this is the first one my family did... First let me say I have made tons of recipes from this site and this is the first one my family did not like very well. It was ok, I just wont make it again. It didn't taste anything like an alfredo sauce. And if you do make it, double the sauce ingredients, otherwise you wont have enough to cover the pasta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This recipe was terrible! This recipe was terrible! There was only enough sauce for 2 small portions, and it came out thick and clumpy and super sweet. I was so upset that I threw out the entire batch and ordered take-out! I will never make this again, and strongly discourage anyone from attempting it. Don't waste your supplies!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved the alfredo sauce that was served at a restaurant I used to work at and have never found one... I loved the alfredo sauce that was served at a restaurant I used to work at and have never found one that even compared. This is a very close 2nd. It gets very thick and creamy and the balsamic dressing adds a wonderful flavor - but next time I will cut it back to 1/8 cup and add more chicken broth.
