  • Heat half the dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Add half the meat; cook 2 min. on each side or until each piece is browned on both sides. Transfer to bowl; cover. Repeat with remaining dressing and meat.
  • Add carrots and onions to skillet; cook 2 to 3 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in flour and crushed pepper; cook 1 min., stirring constantly. Stir in chickpeas, broth and raisins. Bring to boil. Return meat to skillet; cover. Simmer on low heat 10 min. or until meat is done. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in nuts, cilantro and zest. Serve over rice.

Special Extra

Sprinkle with 4 slices cooked and crumbled OSCAR MAYER Bacon just before serving.

    Love this dish. But I added 1 Tablespoon of garlic; and used ************ Italian dressing becasue it has no MSG and Kraft dressing does. I also took one reviewers advice and upped the flour to 2 tablespoons so that the sauce was thicker - Yum!!. Also used Craisins and did not use any nuts.

    I changed this up a bit by using chicken instead of pork and dried cranberries instead of raisins. I also sprinkled feta cheese on top and used brown rice. Very good! nice mix of flavors.

    I made this for family and guests last night and could not get over how wonderful it turned out! All the flavors just came together and everyone loved it! I did not have raisins, so I cut up some prunes and it was great!
