  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Moisten meat with water. Shake off excess. Coat meat as directed on package. Discard any remaining coating mix.
  • Toss sweet potatoes, red potatoes and onion with dressing. Spread evenly into 15x10x1-inch baking pan; top with meat.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center of meat registers 160°F, stirring vegetables after 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Slice meat. Serve with vegetables.

Great Substitute

Prepare as directed, substituting butternut or acorn squash for the sweet potatoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This meal is delicious and filling! This meal is delicious and filling! I did make some adjustments according to what I had available. I substituted the pork for chicken breasts (3 of them) and instead of shake and bake, used regular bread crumbs. I do wish I had dipped the chicken in the dressing rather than just water before putting the breads crumbs on. I also used a balsamic vinagrette instead of the italian dressing. I think this is what made the meal taste so amazing! I will definately make this again because it is very flavorful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband loves sweet potaoes and this variation was a hit. My husband loves sweet potaoes and this variation was a hit. I omitted the onion in the potatoes and topped the meat with a large sweet onion - sliced and caramelized. I also moistioned the meat with wassabi flavored mayo instead of water. Will be making this often. Note: I made it again and found that the potatoes took too long to cook through and had to microwave them. Next time I will partially cook them by boiling before hand. Really good though!

Taste was wonderful, you do need to extend the baking time to about 55 minutes, but I was very disappointed with all the leftover shake and bake that I had. Next time I will pour a little amount at a time and add more if I need it. I felt like it was a bit waste. However, my husband and I finished it off plus the leftovers the next day. (Didn't cook with any vegetables).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i really liked this recipe. i really liked this recipe. easy and tasty. the kids did not like though. i did add a little more seasoning to my vegetables, which was not overkill. the meat came out a little dry but i'm sure it's because i got sidetracked and let it cook too long. but just in case, i'm going to cover it the next time so the dish will have a little extra moisture. thanks KRAFT!!

I also used two tenderloins so I would have left overs and as others have said, there is plenty of Shake 'N Bake to do this. The only problem is that the cooking time is way off. Every time I've baked this according to the directions, the meat has not been done at 25/30 minutes. It takes at least 40 minutes. Otherwise perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from we LOVED THIS! we LOVED THIS! we've made it several times.. i usually coat the tenderloin with the italian dressing... we've also found that it works better for us if we drop the oven temp to 400 so that the potatoes don't burn before they're done, but that could just be our oven. :) make this recipe and pop some veggies in the micrave and dinner is done before you know it!

I made this with a 2lb pre-marinated pork loin, just rolled in the Shake N Bake, I substituted peeled white potatoes for red, added more potatoes and a little more dressing to coat. As most of the others I had to cook a lot longer than called, for 1 1/2 hrs at 400 and I covered it with foil most of that time. It was very juicy and tasted great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great recipe. Great recipe. This is my husbands' favorite dinner now and I make it a few times a month. For variation try a peppercorn marinated pork loin. Really adds a great flavor and the shake and bake seals it in. The cooking time seems to always take longer than the recipe says, so try cutting the potatoes bigger to keep them from scorching.
