  • Heat oven 400°F.
  • Cook and stir bacon in large ovenproof skillet on medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard all but 2 Tbsp. drippings from skillet.
  • Add onions to reserved drippings; cook and stir 3 min. or until crisp-tender. Remove onions from skillet.
  • Cut potatoes into 1/8-inch-thick slices; place in large bowl. Add Parmesan and oil; mix lightly.
  • Arrange half the potatoes, in concentric circles, on bottom of skillet, overlapping edges as necessary to make even layer of potatoes; top with onions and half the Swiss cheese. Repeat layer of potatoes. Top with bacon and remaining Swiss cheese.
  • Bake 25 min. or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.

Size Wise

This impressive, yet easy-to-make, potato side dish is the perfect accompaniment to steamed fresh broccoli, and your favorite cooked lean meat, poultry or fish.

Make it Easy
