Made this yesterday with a couple slight tweaks ... first, I doubled the recipe as it's for a luncheon with high school pals ... then, I added one 8 ounce block of Philadelphia cream cheese which I beat until fluffy before adding anything else to it ... I changed the vanilla instant pudding to white chocolate instant pudding & added 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon & 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar ... I'm also serving it with mini Nilla wafers but will definitely be experimenting with angel food cake in the future! DELICIOUS!!!

I added 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice instead of the 1 tsp but it can stand up to the 1 if using this pudding. I serve it with a spoon for a taster, and also with ginger thins, Triscuts Brown Rice Sweet Potato Sweet onion and Brown Rice Bean Roasted Red Pepper. They were all winners.. This is going to be the easiet dip you make for the holiday and be a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fall 2016 My recipe is similar yet different than this one. I call mine "Pumpkin Pudding". I am not a fan of pumpkin pie spice, so I follow the spices recommended on the can of pumpkin. Mix pumpkin and spices in a separate bowl. Mix instant vanilla pudding, reducing the amount of milk by half. Add pumpkin mixture and blend cool whip into mixture. Refrigerate and enjoy...

They were excited when I told them I was ****** it today for the Giants game!! I was just thinking today when I made it, it would be a good filling in a double layer cake! But even on a spoon, this dip will not disappoint!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time! This is a very, very bland recipe and extremely disappointing. I also had friends that tried it and they had the same opinion. I love to cook and bake, and with this particular recipe I don't think there is anything you could add to make it flavorful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This pumpkin dip tasted great and was super easy to make. This pumpkin dip tasted great and was super easy to make. I didn't have pumpkin spice so i used cinnamon sugar and it tasted just as good. I also used it to ice a cake!
