  • Cut 6-inch-long piece from green end of 1 onion; reserve for later use. Chop remaining onions. Add to cheese mixture with ham; mix well. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
  • Shape cheese mixture into football shape. Top with bacon; press into cheese mixture to secure. Cut reserved green onion piece into smaller pieces; arrange on cheese ball for the laces on the football.
