  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Shape meat into 6 (1/2-inch-thick) patties. Grill 5 to 6 min. on each side or until done (160ºF).
  • Meanwhile, microwave VELVEETA and tomatoes in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 5 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 3 min.
  • Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; top each with 2 Tbsp. VELVEETA sauce. Cover with lettuce, tomato slices and tops of buns. Refrigerate remaining VELVEETA sauce to use as desired. (See tip.)

How to Use the Remaining VELVEETA Sauce

Refrigerate leftover sauce up to 3 days. Then, reheat and serve as a dip with cut-up fresh vegetables or spooned over grilled steaks.

    love this recipe. made it for my girlfriend and her family they loved it too. If you cook your meat right you will have a vary flavorful and juicy burger, I added some Worcester sauce to the meat gave it more flavor! Over all the queso sauce was vary good it could use some personal tweaks but I will have to save that for the next time I make it!
